DAY 1: NAIROBI / MASAI MARA

10.00 hrs: Leave Nairobi via the Great Rift Valley for Masai Mara Game Reserve, picnic lunch en route. On arrival proceed for a game drive in search of black maned lion, elephants, leopard and cheetah, buffalo and other plains game. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: MASAI MARA

06.30 hrs: Proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the camp for breakfast.

10.30 hrs: After breakfast proceed for a further game drive. Lunch at the campsite.

15.30 hrs: After lunch at further game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 3: MASAI MARA

Full day game viewing. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 4: MASAI MARA / LAKE NAKURU (FLAMINGOES)

08.30 hrs: After breakfast leave Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park, Lunch en route. On arrival proceed for a game drive round Lake Nakuru to view flamingoes, water buck, buffaloes etc. The flamingoes at Lake Nakuru are often described as the 'WORLD'S GREATEST BIRD SPECTACLE'. After bird and game viewing check into a hotel with private shower/toilet. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU / NAIROBI

After a leisurely breakfast leave for Nairobi arriving around noon.

Mt Kenya/ Samburu/ Lake Nakuru , 4 ½ days

DAY 1: NAIROBI / MT. KENYA

12.00 hrs: Leave Nairobi and proceed to Naro Moru. Picnic lunch en route.

Check-in to hotel on arrival. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 2: MT. KENYA / SAMBURU

09.00 hrs: After breakfast leave Naro Moru for Samburu Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch.

16.00 hrs: After lunch proceed for a game drive in search of the elusive leopard, lion, elephant,

gerunuk, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, oryx and other plains game. Dinner and overnight at

the campsite.

DAY 3: SAMBURU

06.30 hrs: Proceed for and early morning game drive. Return to the camp for breakfast.

10.30 hrs: After breakfast proceed for a further game drive. Lunch at the campsite.

16.00 hrs: After lunch a final game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 4: SAMBURU / NAKURU

08.00 hrs: After breakfast leave Samburu for Thomsons Falls, picnic lunch and continue

to Lake Nakuru National Park. On arrival at Lake Nakuru proceed for a game to view the

flamingoes often described as the "WORLD'S GREATEST BIRD SPECTACLE".

Thereafter check into a hotel at Nakuru with a private shower/toilet. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: NAKURU / NAIROBI

08.30 hrs: After breakfast leave Nakuru for Nairobi arriving before lunch.

3½ days Masai Mara

DAY 1: NAIROBI / MASAI MARA

Game drives before and after breakfast and after lunch in our special 9 or 15 seater minibus.

08.30 hrs: After breakfast leave Masai Mara for Nairobi arriving around 16.00 hrs.

WHAT I NEED TO BRING

Sleeping bag or we will provide you a blanket ( no charge) .

Sturdy safari clothes, jeans, T-shirts, jumper or anorak for cool evenings and early mornings.

Route: (Kyrgyzstan) Bishkek – Naryn – Tash-Rabat – Torugart – Kashgar – Urumqi (China)

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Bishkek in the early morning, transfer to the hotel. Time to rest, then a city sightseeing tour including: Ala-Too Square, Philarmonic, Statue of Manas, Victory Square, etc Lunch. Continue city tour and free time. Dinner in restaurant, accommodation in the hotel.

Day 2: After breakfast we start our drive to Naryn, where on the way we have lunch in Kochkor, a small, very likeable town. Dinner, overnight in a comfortable guest house “Celestial Mountains”.

Day 3: After breakfast drive to Tash-Rabat, the old, very well-preserved caravanserey of the Great Silk Road. Lunch. Sightseeing around. Rest by your own. Accommodation in the yurts.

Day 4: Early morning after breakfast drive to Torugart Pass on to the Kyrgyz-Chinese border. Tourists are met on the border, then further transfer on down to the Chinese Custom first. It takes about 1 hour to pass over the Chinese Customs. Then continue your driving and move into Kashgar. Over night in one of 2 star level Hotel. Distance from the border to Kashgar is about 180 km. Road condition is good enough for bus driving. It normally takes about 7 hours to get Kashgar by driving from the border.

Day 5: Take a ride by bus to do sightseeing and excursions: take a local taxi – Donkey Cart to visit the Abahja Family Tombs, Hat market. Then visit a local family, share a delicious lunch with this family at lunch; take a ride by bus to visit the Grand Atigar Mosque after lunch, take a walk in the Handcrafts Lanes. Leave for the airport in the evening in order to catch up your flight CZ6802 which departure at 22:20 PM. This flight takes you about one 1 and 40 minutes. As soon as you arrive at Urumqi, further transfer to one of 3 star level hotel for night.

Day 7: It takes about 2 hours by driving to take you to the Heavenly Lake. As soon as you get there, take a boat tour on this beautiful lake. After enjoying a Kazak tasty lunch in a yurt restaurant, return to Urumqi. Visit the Xinjiang Historical Museum, climb up to the top of the Red Hill Park to get the bird views of this whole capital city, take a walk in the famous Minority Street, enjoy a splendid local singing and dancing performance at your banquet dinner in the Grand Xinjiang International Bazaar. Take a walk in the biggest Night Food Market after all.

Day 8: Leave for the airport to catch up your international flight to leave away from Urumqi. All services end.
